PLANNING FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

SPIRITUAL GROWTH:

1) IS ABOUT ADDITION

· Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.   Proverbs 29:18 (NIV)

2) REQUIRES A PLAN OF ACTION

· Then the LORD replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.”   Habakkuk 2:2 (NIV)

· Think about it:

a. God had a plan = Jesus

b. Moses had a plan = The Promised Land

c. Job had a plan = Pray for his friends

d. King David had a plan = The Temple

e. Jesus had a plan = The Disciples

3) WORKS BEST WITH ACCOUNTABILITY

· People learn from one another, just as iron sharpens iron.
