TO BE FILLED WITH LOVE

TEXT: Eph. 3:14-19

· Paul prayed for the church at Ephesus, living in a charged political and philosophical

atmosphere, to be filled with the love that transcends politics and philosophies.

1) REMEMBER HOW IT ALL STARTED

· The foundation of our love relationship with God:

a. Before the creation of the world (Eph. 4:1)

b. In the creation of our being (Psalm 139:13)

c. While we were in chaos (Rom. 5:8)

d. Every morning (Lam. 3:22-23)

e. Forever (Psalm 136)

2) KEEP REACHING TO UNDERSTAND

a. Power = full strength

b. Grasp = to lay hold of

3) EXERCISE WHAT YOU KNOW

a. Know, knowledge = to know through experience, contains the idea of approval or

acknowledgement

CONCLUSION

· May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone
