PLANNING FOR RELATIONAL GROWTH

TEXT: Eph. 3:14-21

INTRODUCTION

· God calls us to keep growing instead of moving on.

· Building better relationships is the other half of Christianity.

1) PRAY FOR THE LOVE THAT SURPASSES KNOWLEDGE

2) LET LOVE CHALLENGE YOUR  BOUNDARIES

· Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.   1 Peter 1:22 (NIV)

3) ASK FOR AND IMAGINE LOVE IN EVERY ARENA

· The relationships described in the book of Ephesians:

a. God

b. Believers

c. Spousal

d. Parental

e. Non-believers

* Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character."   1 Corinthians 15:33 (NIV)

f. Occupational

g. Diabolical

CONCLUSION

· It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails.   1 Corinthians 13:7-8 (NIV)
