RENEW

TEXT: Luke 4:18-19

INTRODUCTION

· Our vision is to help people find their God-given destinies.  After we’ve partnered with God to reach people the restoration process begins—we call it Renew!

1) THE MATTER OF OUR DISPATCH

· Be silent before me, you islands! Let the nations renew their strength! Let them come forward and speak; let us meet together at the place of judgment.  Isa 41:1 (NIV)

2) THE MANDATE OF FREEDOM

· Following Jesus is about progressively breaking free from the things that once imprisoned us.

3) THE MINISTRY OF RECOVERY

· Now change your mind and attitude to God and turn to him so he can cleanse away your sins and send you wonderful times of refreshment from the presence of the Lord and send Jesus your Messiah back to you again. For he must remain in heaven until the final recovery of all things from sin, as prophesied from ancient times.  Acts 3:19-21 (TLB)

CONCLUSION

· Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  2 Cor 4:16-17 (NIV)
