EMPOWERED TO LIVE AND LOVE

TEXT: Luke 24:13-32

INTRODUCTION

 

·        Easter is about God’s power!  In the Bible, power and love always go together.

 

1) EMPOWERED TO LIVE

 

·        Basically, there are two kinds of life:

 

  1. Temporal – involves your five senses

 

  1. Eternal – is the life that is in God, where God lives forever; it goes way beyond our five senses

 

2) EMPOWERED TO LOVE

 

·        Over a lifetime you will have literally thousands of opportunities to die to love.

 

·        And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.   I John 4:16 (NIV)

 

 

CONCLUSION
