PERSONALITY DIFFERENCES

TEXT: Gen. 49:1-28

INTRODUCTION

·        For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more

highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance

with the measure of faith God has given you.              Rom 12:3 (NIV)

1)      EVERY FAMILY IS A CLASSROOM

·        …give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

                                                                                  1Thes 5:18 (NIV)

2)      LEARN TO ACCEPT DIFFERENCE

·        No doubt there have to be differences among you to show which of you have God's

approval.                                                                          1 Cor 11:19 (NIV)

3)      LEAVE FAIRNESS FOR FUNCTION

·        The truth of the matter is it is impossible for any set of parents to be completely fair with their children all the time.

4)      LIVE IN YOUR FATHER’S BLESSING

·        Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the

heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.            Eph 1:3 (NIV)

CONCLUSION

·        Communion is meant to be a remembrance and renewal in the blessing of God through

the sacrifice of Christ.
