Text: Luke 7: 36-50

The peace the world gives is based on circumstances. The peace God offers us is a gift.

And the one thing that will always steal our peace is guilt.

What She Came With

1) Brokenness

‘The sacrifice you want is a broken spirit. A broken and repentant heart, O God, you will not despise.’ Psalm 51:17 (NLT)

2) Humility

‘ I refresh the humble and give new courage to those with repentant hearts’ Isaiah 57:15 (NLT)

There must come a time in a Christians life when the question “what will others think of me’ gives place to “what will Jesus think of me?’

3) Worship

‘Love that releases all of the heart’s adoration, that expresses all of the soul’s attitudes, that explains all of the mind’s determination, and utilizes all of the strength of the worshipper’s body is worship. Worship is love responding to love.’

4) Gifts

‘Give to the Lord the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come to worship him.’

What She Left With

1) Forgiveness

2) Faith

3) Deliverance

4) Peace

‘I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn’t like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid’.  John 14:27 NLT

‘Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Jesus.’ Philippians 4:6,7
