SACRIFICE – THE TRANSFORMATION INTO MORE
TEXT: John 13:1-17
INTRODUCTION
· Either we settle in to religious service, learning the minimum standards and how to get by or we keep taking up the Cross and letting the Holy Spirit transform us—and we get the “more” that Jesus promised us.
· Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Cor 3:17-18 (NIV)
