THE ANIMATION OF GOD’S PEOPLE

TEXT: John 5:24

INTRODUCTION

· Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals."   Rev 5:5 (NIV)

1) ETERNAL LIFE HAS ALREADY STARTED

· Anyone who has received him and his words has already started to live forever.

· Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.  "And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"   John 11:25-26 (NKJ)

2) THE LIFE OF SEPARATION IS OVER

· This is what the Bible calls “the good news”.

· There is no condemnation now for those who live in union with Christ Jesus.   Rom 8:1 (TEV)

· Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.   Heb 4:16 (NIV)

3) LIVE THE ANIMATION OF ETERNAL LIFE

· Now we have the incredible privilege of:

a. Hearing God speak

b. Feeling His touch

c. Seeing the signs

d. Smelling the Fragrance

e. Speaking to Him

CONCLUSION

· Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.   Isa 40:28-31 (NIV)
